About	Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve is one of the highest peaks globally, made up of lava and volcanic debris leftover from a volcano that is 10 million years old. The visitor center at the staging area of the skyline boulevard displays the geology of the preserve. There is a self-guided brochure in the staging area that illustrates the geological features of the preserve. Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve has the most extensive trail within the landscape of the 31-mile east bay. Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve is a beautiful place to go on a run with absolutely fantastic views of both the bay and the tri-valley. They also have fun info cards that will teach you more about the volcanic land formation throughout the bay. The trails are well maintained, and there are various options for those who like climbs. The park has free parking.
