About	Mission Peak Regional Preserve is a vast mountain preserve popular for biking, hiking, horseback riding, R/C flying, and hang-gliding. Tourists to this park are welcomed to carpool, use public transport and ride-sharing services, ride their motorcycles. It is a well-used park, with hundreds of tourists trying the 3-plus-mile hike to Mission Peak, particularly on weekends. The 550+ mile multi-use loop is designed along the San Francisco Bay (currently over 330 miles complete) hill and mountain ridgelines. You can enjoy 29-mile hiking and biking in the most scenic landscape of southern Alameda County. The final stretch of the hike features a rocky climb to the top. At Ohlone Colleg, all visitors to the park access the trails. Eagle Spring Backpack Camp provides opportunities for backpack camping. There are resting tables on the way and attached dog water bowls.
