| About | Phoenix Mountains Preserve is one of the best spots for hiking in the Phoenix area. The park has plenty of opportunities to play and hike. The 3.74-mile Freedom Trail covers the hill's base, while the Quartz Ridge Trail climbs up to connect with other trails to view the surrounding desert. The preserve consists of small mountains and adjacent foothills that reach about 2,000 feet. The area has excellent views and less crowded trails. You can take a 1.6-mile path around Shadow Mountain or walk up to the lookout mountain on a short sweet.6-mile summit path. You can enjoy its multiple pathways and mountain hikes with 360 views. Phoenix Mountains Preserve features parking, picnic tables, and restrooms. The park has friendly people to maintain the facilities. |
