About	Dr. Akash Patel attended the Duke Medical School, widely considered to be one of the best medical schools in the United States. He did very well in medical school and was selected to become a member of the Duke's chapter of the Honorary Medical Society of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). Dr. Akash Patel wanted to finish his Dermatology training in the South and completed his Dermatology residency at Emory University. He enjoys being a general dermatologist. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Akash Patel is a member of a number of societies and associations.
