| About | Swindon Town Hall is a building in the mid 19th century, the centrepiece of New Swindon. Swindon Town Hall has been listed as a Grade II building. The building was constructed to rebuild the High Street Old Town Hall. The new office of the local board was constructed in 1890, now called Regent Circus. The circus was again reconstructed as council offices of the new Borough in Euclid Street. The town hall also holds Swindon Reference Library until 2006. The rest of the building was also used as a dance studio and a media centre. |
