The historic place is uniquely situated in a dramatic clifftop position with spectacular views over Bridlington and set in 50 acres of early 19th Century parkland. Sewerby Hall and Garden is Grade I listed Hall. John Greame has built the Georgian core of the house 1714-1720. Sewerby gives you a tour through architectural history. A total restoration was made in 2013-2014, and it is re-presented the hall as an Edwardian Country house. The rooms are furnished with impressive pieces from the Victoria and Albert Museum and other important collections. Their Clock Tower Café serves a wide range of hot and cold food including freshly ground coffee, daily specials, homemade scones, cakes, sandwiches and soup. |
