| About | St. Thomas Church is one of the oldest historical churches in Newcastle upon Tyne. The church was designed in Gothic style by the architect John Dobson in 1836. It is a Grade II Listed, Anglican church established to serve the people from the locality with religious needs and services. The church has faced many renovations and expansions over the years to serve the rapidly growing population of the community. St Thomas’ Church has groups and ministries to help and support the community youth, kids, men and women with their individual and religious needs. Their youth group meets every Sunday morning to play games, read the bible and pray together. St. Thomas Church organs in the church were built in 1832, which still serves the church by helping the choir and other events with mesmerising music. |
