| About | St Mary's Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral that was designed in a Gothic Revival style by Augustus Welby Pugin. The cathedral building's construction was completed between 1842 and 1844. It is one of the Grade I listed building in the community. There is a Monument Garden outside the cathedral, which offers a picturesque setting for the cathedral. St Mary's Cathedral's pleasant ambience and historical architecture attract people from neighbouring communities for the masses, prayers and worship. Over the years of service, the cathedral building has faced many restorations and expansions.
