About | Vancouver Aquarium is a non-profit organization devoted to the conservation of marine biodiversity. It contains more than 50,000 magnificent animals. Explore the BC Coast Gallery treasures to explore the rare and breathtaking species that live in the coastal waters of BC, including 'Ceph Rogen,' the Pacific Octopus. It covers 9,000 square metres and has 9,500,000 litres of water in 166 aquatic displays. There are various separate galleries, each constructed at a different stage in the aquarium's history. Visitors can explore 300 species of fish, almost 30,000 invertebrates, 56 species of amphibians and reptiles. Vancouver Aquarium also has around 60 mammals and birds. Make visits to the Aquarium directly contribute to the restoration, awareness, and research initiatives of the Aquarium. |
