About | The Canadian Museum of Flight is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of their rich British Columbia aviation history. They delight in welcoming visitors of all ages, catering to the aviation history enthusiast, delighting children of all ages, and inspiring youth towards careers in aviation and in science and technology more broadly. The museum has over 25 civilian and military jets, piston-driven engine aircraft, gliders, and helicopters on display, several of which are in flying condition. You will also find a broad array of photos, documents and objects that tell the stories of this region's long involvement in aviation. Guests can touch aircraft made of aluminium and of wood and fabric and modern composites. For the hard-to-buy-for aviation buff, the Gift Shop has an excellent selection of used books at unbeatable prices. As the museum is situated on an active airport, their visitors can watch the action from their front apron and from their picnic ground. |
