About | Ireland House Museum is a former homestead of the Ireland family. It is now preserved and hosting tours and interactive programming. It provides tourists with a rich historical first-hand encounter with one of Burlington's founding families. It is constructed using fieldstone coated with a limestone mortar. This building technique allowed the house to stay in excellent condition even before it was restored. Its Guided tours, heritage demonstrations and interactive programming will tell Burlington’s history. Ireland House Museum offers free admission for children age three and under. Members of the museum are offered discounts. |
