| About | Yallourn North & District Historical Society tells the living history of the Old Brown Coal Mine, Yallourn North, Yallourn, and the former State Electricity Commission work area incorporating the Yallourn Power Station. This building in Yallourn North was known to various local people as the YMCA or youth club hall. It is a comparatively young building compared with other buildings around the state of Victoria. Throughout the year, the society conducts a series of outstanding displays. These displays have featured general memorabilia, old tins, old tools, club trophies, Anzac displays, wedding and debutante gowns, and dresses.
