| About | Old Gippstown is an open-air museum located in Moe, Victoria. It is the place to experience Gippsland in the 1850s and walk the streets of Old Gippstown. The museum has large-scale exhibits that explain the history of the Gippsland region. Visitors can explore the forty historical buildings which are dating from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century. The historical collection includes various antiques, artwork, books and papers. Old Gippstown also has military antiques from the first and second world wars. The volunteers are working on expanding collections of artefacts, vehicles and buildings. Old Gippstown is also available for events. |
