About | The Bundaberg Botanic Gardens occupies 27 hectares of land and has a range of 10,000 trees and shrubs. It also has 15 plant collections, including a rare fruit tree orchard and Chinese Gardens. A beautiful lake that attracts many birds is the highlight of the Gardens, while the wedding chapel, the shaded picnic areas and the natural themed playground are all a drawcard. A series of boardwalks and trails invites tourists to enjoy Japanese and Chinese gardens, Australian rainforests, prehistoric gardens, fern gardens, bamboo, sclerophyll woodland, bromeliad gardens, rare fruit orchards, woodworkers' guilds, Hinkler gardens and palm groves.
