About | Monument Hill War Memorial was constructed in 1923 by the architect Louis Harrison and built at the cost of 3,000 pounds. The monument was unveiled on Anzac Day in 1925 in the dedication of the men and women who served in World War l. It is the Hilltop observation area with World War I & II memorials featuring stunning views of the city and surrounding region. It provides a variety of walking trails to and around the site, and you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the local native flora and fauna.
