About | Lieutenant Albert Borella V.C. & Victoria Cross memorial is a must-see when you visit Albury Wodonga. The Albert Borella also served as a lieutenant in the Second World War and settled in Albury, New South Wales. The memorial features a life-size Lieutenant Borella statue on one side, and all 100 Australian VC recipients etched in black granite on the other side. Borella was buried in 1968 in Albury with full military honours. The memorial was inspired by George Benyon and his family and supported by the RSL branch in Albury. Educational resources and Historical material are available. The place also has a Gift Shop. |
