About	The Ed Burke Recreation Center offers a number of programs, activities, and community events for Village of Biscayne Park residents and visitors. The EBRC has a large playground area suited for children of elementary school age and an enclosed tot lot playground for children five and under. A large multi-use field is available for baseball, soccer, football, etc. A walking path surrounds the grounds, including a multi-use basketball court, volleyball court, picnic area, racquetball walls, and a community Plant Swap. The Recreation Center, accented by a beautiful butterfly garden, includes rooms used for meetings, programs, classes, and workshops. There is a game room, a kitchen/concession stand, and a small public library. The center and the grounds are available for rent for group gatherings such as birthday parties, dinners, meetings, and athletic events. The Ed Burke Recreation Center is 12.2 miles from downtown to Miami.
