About	Overton Park is a large, 342-acre public park located in Memphis. The park features the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, Memphis Zoo, a 9-hole golf course, Rainbow Lake, Formal Gardens, the Memphis College of Art, Veterans Plaza, and the Greensward. A formal garden is a perfect place for relaxing and contemplating the beauty of the landscape. The park has two playgrounds and an art museum. Overton Park has two miles of paved trails underneath a canopy. The park has beautiful trees to shade the picnic tables and benches, making them pleasant places for kids and parents alike. The park features two large climbing structures, a Big Green Mound with a hollow tree tunnel and slide, chess tables, swing sets, and an old-fashioned merry-go-round. Overton Park offers a free library and picnic tables. It is a fabulous place for people jogging, bike riding, playing with a pet. The park has a green space area for visitors to sit and relax in nature and spend time with families and friends.
