About	Scherer Park is a multi-purpose park located in Long Beach. It consists of 26 acres of parkland. The park has basketball courts, a community center, a picnic area, tennis courts, volleyball courts, a playground, a weight room, restrooms, youth recreation, and adult fitness. There are plenty of recreational activities to keep the children active. Scherer Park offers fitness classes, educational programs, and yoga classes.
