About	Dr. Martha Wetter is one of the best psychologists in the Lexington region. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky. She served in independent practice, in community mental health, and in an academic position in the Psychology Department at the University of Kentucky. She focuses on the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to treat borderline personality disorder clients and is a Certified Clinician™ from the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification. Martha specializes in many kinds of psychological treatments and provides adult psychological assessments. She has been involved in the Kentucky Psychological Association (KPA) for many years and served as President in 2011. Dr. Wetter received the Distinguished Career in Psychology award from KPA, and is the recipient of the 'Theres N. Walton Lifetime Achievement Award' from National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
