About	Dr. Alex Ky-Miyasaka is one of the leading colorectal surgery specialists in New York. She graduated from the Medical School of Suny Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Alex finished her residency program at Lenox Hill Hospital. She specializes in performing transanal endoscopic microsurgery and laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery. Dr. Alex also has expertise in performing complex procedures that few other doctors in the world are able to perform. She is the first person in New York City to use a sacral nerve stimulator. Dr. Alex has special interests in stapled transanal rectal resection (STARR) and the procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids. Her first priority is to provide the highest quality of care to the community.
