It is a 75,000-square-foot art museum dedicated to the medium of glass. In its 16th year, it has built a reputation for hosting impactful, engaging artist residencies, organizing nationally traveling exhibitions in their galleries, and creating unique programs for their visitors, all while making a growing permanent collection chronicling the development of modern/contemporary glass. Each year over 100,000 visitants explore this museum, sampling all that they provide. Museum facilities include 11,000 sq. ft of exhibition space, a hot shop amphitheater, a theatre for video or performing arts, in addition, an education studio for creative development and interpretation. |
