| About | Monterey Zoo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a natural environment to animals. Initially, the zoo was a Wild Things Animal Rentals, Inc. Now, the Zoological Assoc accredits the zoo, and it is home to 100+ exotic animals ranging from spiders to African elephants. They also provide a full-time committed educational program to the visitors, and more than a thousand students are participating in the program annually. Visitors can enjoy the"Meet and Greet" program, where you can enjoy feeding African elephants. Discounts and private group visits are available. Monterey Zoo offers free admission for children age two and under. |
