It is named after the internationally known woodworker Sam Maloof. He is acknowledged as one of the finest woodworkers of the time. His furniture can be found in some of the country's most prestigious private collections and the permanent collections of the Boston Museum of Art. Until his death in 2009, he developed and created furniture infused with a great creative vision for more than half a century. This Historic Residence Museum has over 100 examples of his unique furniture on display. |
