It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with grants, membership dues, scholarships, and fees for the program. The Garden is nationally recognized for its deep-rooted history and celebrated for its blooms in every season. They have 95 bird species and 40 butterfly forms. Children's Adventure Garden is a 3-acre garden where children discover the links between plants, foreign cultures, and the environment. They give guided and self-directed children's garden tours of their world of wonders. The Garden offers an enjoyable opportunity to attract guests of all ages. Over twenty thousand students and adults are reached through activities, workshops, and lectures from Norfolk Botanical Garden.
