AboutInternational Civil Rights Center & Museum is an oral history center dedicated to the worldwide fight for civil and human rights, gathering museums and educational facilities. It has 30,000 square feet (2,800 m2) of exhibit space occupying the ground floor and basement and office space on the top floor. The museum honors the 1960 Greensboro sit-ins' peaceful protests, which served as momentum in the civil rights movement. The American civil rights movement's history with a guided tour of the International Civil Rights Center and the permanent display at the museum. The museum has an exhibition area of 30,000 square feet. They afford free admission for children under 6. The front desk host was accommodating and passionate about the stories in the museum. They encourage guests to schedule ahead of time if they intend to have ten or more people. International Civil Rights Center & Museum also provides an online interactive virtual presentation.
