| About | The Historic GEM Theater is a true treasure situated at the end of Historic Main Street, surrounded by quaint restaurants and shops. It has become a single-screen community movie theater in the 1930s. The GEM Theater is a 158-seat venue operated by the City of Garden Grove and managed by one more production. In 2008, One More Production completed a $150,000 renovation of the theatre, bringing the theater up to the ADA code and equipping it with a state-of-the-art sound system, lighting system, remodeled stage, curtains, and refurbished theater seats as repairing and upgrading the venue. The GEM Theater features three separate lobby, two concession rooms, balcony seats and is handicap accessible. It is easily accessible from 5, 405, and 22 freeways, with more than adequate parking. |
