| About | Amarillo Botanical Gardens is a place where the native floras are showcased over 4 acres of seasonal gardens, with an indoor tropical conservatory. It serves the area by inspiring interaction with plants and the environment, creating adventure, and conveying knowledge. Students will have the opportunity to view specimens of butterflies and moths, learn about colors, size, and some adaptations for survival, learn the metamorphosis cycle, and engage in a hands-on extension activity. They made 1000s of cuttings to fulfill the gardens, began seeds, and brought plants from their houses to fill the new sizable garden center spaces. Guided tours are available during regular business hours and reservations only. Wheelchair accessible and dog-friendly options are also available. Membership holders can get free admission and half admission for Music in the Gardens during the summer. Children age five and under can enjoy the garden with free admission. |
