About	Dr. Karen Johnson attended Casper College and the University of Wyoming before moving to California for Optometry School. She is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry in 1998. After graduation, Dr. Karen completed a residency in hospital-based optometry in Sells, Arizona, at the USPHS IHS Hospital. She received extensive training in diabetic eye disease. Dr. Karen Johnson has presented her research on the prevalence of diabetic eye disease at the American Academy of Optometry and has been published in optometry journals in the area of contact lenses.
