About	Dr. Michael J McDermott is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who obtained his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine. He is the co-director of The Sports Medicine Center at SRO. Dr. Michael specializes in joint replacement and minimally invasive procedures of the knee, hip, and shoulder. He has extensive experience in advanced arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Michael has specialized training in reverse total shoulder, and Mako Robotic assisted patient-specific hip and knee replacement. He applies his expertise in treating young patients with damaged meniscus and articular cartilage, including meniscal repair and transplantation, knee re-alignment surgery.
