About	Dr. Michael J. Salata is a sports medicine specialist with a clinical focus on cartilage restoration and meniscus surgery. He graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Michael finished his sports medicine fellowship at the world-renowned Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He received specialized training in the new field of hip arthroscopy. Dr. Michael focuses on arthroscopic treatment of orthopedic pathology affecting the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow. His research interests include ligament reconstruction techniques, cartilage repair and restoration, hip arthroscopy, meniscus repair, and transplantation. Dr. Michael has presented his research at numerous local, national, and international conferences. He also practices in South Euclid, Twinsburg, Medina, and Beachwood.
