| About | Krueger Mansion has developed initiatives to raise awareness of the importance and capacity of the corridor, including work on opportunities for restoration and use of the mansion. The organization, designed by Newark architects Guilbert and Betelle, built a 700-seat auditorium that joined the palace and its former stables at the property's southwest corner. Louise Scott helps tell this tale and the changes in the late 19th and 20th centuries that influenced the city and its population. It was the most valuable building ever built in Newark at the time and featured the initials "GK" on the entrance and tile floor of sandstone. |
