It is a former sanatorium located in southwestern Louisville/Jefferson County, Kentucky. It is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. The Sanatorium was opened in 1910 as a two-story hospital to accommodate 40 to 50 tuberculosis patients. The Waverly Hills Historical Society was founded to preserve the building and encourage awareness of its history, architectural value, and impact on the local community. They offer paranormal guided tours, historical daytime tours, public paranormal overnight investigations, and private overnight investigations. |
