| About | Arkansas State Capitol is the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial located in Little Rock. The building was built on the site of the state penitentiary, and prisoners helped construct the building. It is crafted in the neo-classical style, built as a design of the United States Capitol over a century ago, and has been used as a stand-in in several shows. It was the first Civil Rights Memorial placed on any State Capitol grounds in the south. The building features six bronze doors, Arkansas granite, and three New York Tiffany candlesticks. Arkansas State Capitol offers free entry. |
