Arden Edwards initially built the museum in 1928. The Museum is the State Regional Indian Museum of California representing Indian Communities in the Great Basin. The museum displays over 3,000 artifacts, including the Great Basin, California coast, and Antelope Valley. The park features historical grounds, a picnic area, and an outdoor ceremonial arena.
