About | Grand Rapids Public Museum is the oldest history museum in the U.S. The Museum offers three floors of history in an ex-flour mill plus exhibits, a 1928 carousel & a planetarium. It provides rides year-round to guests old and young. The place has 44 hand-carved two chariots and a giraffe, elaborately jeweled wooden horses, goat, tiger, lion, deer, and camel. Grand Rapids Public Museum offers interactive history, culture, and science exhibits with three floors of core and traveling exhibits.
