AboutGrand Rapids Public Museum is the oldest history museum in the U.S. The Museum offers three floors of history in an ex-flour mill plus exhibits, a 1928 carousel & a planetarium. It provides rides year-round to guests old and young. The place has 44 hand-carved two chariots and a giraffe, elaborately jeweled wooden horses, goat, tiger, lion, deer, and camel. Grand Rapids Public Museum offers interactive history, culture, and science exhibits with three floors of core and traveling exhibits. Grand Rapids Public Museum offers free entry and free weekend rides.
