The building was designed around 1875 by Joseph Magoffin; this house is a prime example of Territorial style architecture and features a central courtyard and quiet countryside. You can enjoy visiting the interior of a historic adobe building and learning about the past and heritage of the Southwestern borderlands through the lives and experiences of a prominent El Paso family. It offers Spanish tours from Thursday through Saturday. Visitors can also enjoy the peaceful countryside of the house, where they can sit and wait for a trip to start or have a picnic. It affords free admission for kids under five. Guided tours are available at any time. |
