| About | 'UTA Planetarium' is one of Texas's three main planetariums, housed on Arlington's The University of Texas campus. UTA Planetarium provides live stargazing and pre-recorded programs to students during the year for the public, school groups, and UT Arlington. It offers breathtaking views of the night sky, the solar system, planets, and distant galaxies with its 60-foot dome projection stage, fully interactive projection system, and advanced software. They are using cutting-edge technology and a 60-ft. The theater provides comfortable reclining seats for an audience of nearly 150, is wheelchair friendly, and can give radio headsets for the hearing impaired. It includes community campus trips at 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. Their shows are one-hour long and contain 30 minutes of tonight's night sky stargazing presented by a space scientist. |
