| About | O.T. Fuller State Park is one of the best hiking trails in Memphis. It covers more than 1100 acres of protected land, and this park has a wide variety of activities. The campground has a lot of hardwood trees that offer plenty of shade. Forty-five campsites are accessible by RV, with some sites which can accommodate up to 85 feet of RV space. The park preserves and exhibits rare natural resources while providing a wide variety of recreation outdoors. The discovery trail is a four-mile loop in which visitors can see the Chucalissa Indian Village and the Wetlands. O.T. Fuller State Park is the only state park within the city limits that is wildlife-friendly. The park has four shelters, which can hold groups of between 40 and 120 people. It is seven miles from Graceland, 10 miles from the Memphis International airport, and 15 miles from downtown. |
