About	Terry Hershey Park is one of the leading hiking trails in Houston. The park covers 500 acres and includes some of Texa's most scenic bicycle and off-road trails. The park consists of many paths used by walkers, runners, some paved and some unpaved ones. It maintains a network of paved asphalt paths. The park has bathroom facilities and potable water. The park has a track of more than 30,000 miles. The paved paths are located in the park's cleared section, free from plants, and about 10 feet wide. It is 496 acres, with trails of over 12 miles. The park has a variety of recreational and walking opportunities for visitors. Terry Hershey Park also features trails from barker dam (near state highway 6) to Texas Beltway 8 and the Sam Houston tollway over 10 miles. Pets are allowed along with the visitors.
