About | Lindenwood Nature Preserve is a nature reserve of 110 acres, with four hiking trails of different lengths. It is a state-designated Nature Preserve and protects Fort Wayne's natural woodland habitat. It offers programs and activities to promote outdoor education and cultural enrichment and promote awareness that the environment encourages the quality of life through creative inspiration. The preserve is featuring four hiking trails of varying lengths. The trillium trail is 0.5 miles, and due to the prevalence of trees and shrubs, it is their most beautiful trail in the spring. The reflection trail is 1 mile in length. This trail is the only trail leading to the pond and available to this point. The wheelchair and stroller are accessible here. |
