| About | Indian River Park is a 90-acre metropolitan-forest preserve, strategically split between Paramount and Rokeby Avenues by Military Highway with parcels on both sides. It consists mainly of mature hardwood and pines, and a small lake winds the entire length of the property. The park is found in significant seasoned wood and pine trees, a baseball field, a play area, and a girl club. The park provides a convenient place to explore trail adventures. It has a range of cycling paths and jumps and BMX groups. Cape Henry Audubon bird walk was exciting and pleasant. The nature trails are well kept, and for animals or plants, a great place to explore. Most people enjoy mountain bike, hike, walk and run. There are occasional benches for a snack. |
