| About | McKinney Falls State Park is one of the leading hiking trails in Austin. It has a 641-acre park and provides a wide range of recreational activities, including hunting and hiking. The park includes over 80 campsites, including built (RV) sites and hike-ins. You can also fish in an onion creek and float in it. The 28-mile onion creek hike and cycling path have a rough surface, perfect for scooters and road bikes. You can see the White-tailed deer, raccoons, armadillos, squirrels, and several species of birds live in the area. McKinney Falls is a great place for a day trip or a multi-day camping getaway. The park staffs are always friendly and helpful. Screened and group shelters are available. |
