About	Oakhurst Forest Preserve is a splendid national oasis based in the town of Aurora, Illinois. The park has a 55-acre lake/marsh complex that offers exceptional fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing opportunities. It has lots of green space, walking/biking trails, and a good-sized lake for kayaking. The park has a large space for equestrian parking and riding. Visitors can also explore acres of woods and lakes, with beautiful views of Aurora and surrounding areas. Volunteers are planting native species, maintaining trails, and harvesting seeds.
