| About | Morningside Nature Preserve is 33.1 acres of northeast Atlanta woodland bisected by the Peachtree Creek South Branch. On both sides of the stream, there are about 2 miles of trails. Nature Preserve is a secret and well-loved network of biking and running trails traversing more than 30 acres of rolling woodland. It provides a beautiful forest retreat from Atlanta's surrounding urban landscape. The path leaves the wooded forest and reaches a clearing, where there remains a small path marker at 25 miles. The forested tract has a trail for running, hiking, and biking and also features a scenic creek. There are a creek and a beach area where visitors let their dogs play in the creek. |
