| About | The Woodlands Golf Course is an 18-hole, regulation par 69, 5,400-yard golf course located at 9 Woodland Road in Hampton, near Hampton University. Donald Ross designed the original course, and Ed Ault completed the current design in 1973. With Bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways, and rough, this course offers an excellent test of shot-making. The Woodlands Golf Course hosts the Hampton Amateur and the Peninsula Women's Championship Tournaments and is listed in Golf Magazine as one of "The First 100 Clubs in America". Their well-stocked pro shop offers women's and men's clothing and golfing accessories. The Grille at The Woodlands provides excellent catering for your next tournament, whether buffet or boxed lunch. |
