| About | Dr. Nader Iskander is a board-certified ophthalmologist by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellowship-trained in refractive surgery. The doctor has over 22 years of experience as a San Antonio Eye Specialist. Dr. Nader received his Doctor of Medicine degree and graduated with honors at the top of his medical school class. He is experienced in LASIK vision correction, advanced cataract extraction procedures, and anterior segment reconstruction techniques. The doctor has personally performed thousands of procedures. He received numerous honors and awards for his contributions to the science of ophthalmology. Iskander was the first surgeon in Texas to introduce Carl Zeiss Excimer laser technology and the first surgeon in south Texas to implant the newest generation of toric intraocular lenses by Johnson and Johnson.
