About	Deborah N. Meyer specializes in health law, corporate litigation, professional licensing, and employment law. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Valdosta State University and her Juris Doctor cum laude from Campbell University, where she won the Women in Law Award. Deborah was also a member of the National Trial Team of the Department. Meyer is a faculty member of the Campbell University School of Law Professionalism Course in collaboration with the North Carolina Chief Justice of the Commission on Professionalism. Meyer practiced nursing for 19 years before joining the legal profession. In 1985, she became a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society in Nursing. Meyer is a member of the Chambers of Commerce of Durham and Cary. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the United Methodist Retirement Homes and President of the UMRH Ethics Committee. Meyer is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Durham Symphony Orchestra.
