About	Safeway Driving School has given quality driver's training in Minnesota for over 50 years. Founded in 1969, Safeway Driving School is currently the most significant driving school in Minnesota, instructing over 4,000 teen students last year. The Driving School is owned locally by Chip Hayssen and Jim and Cindy Thienes. Safeway is fully bonded, insured, and licensed by the State of Minnesota. SDS's purpose is to educate its learners to become competent and skillful drivers. Their 80 licensed driving instructors include many certified school coaches & former law enforcement officers. They provide classroom driving instruction and behind-the-wheel lessons for teenagers at locations throughout the Minneapolis & St. Paul metro region. All their training vehicles are regularly examined and maintained to ensure safety. Morning, Afternoon, and Evening classes are available.
