He earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed an internship at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan, followed by a residency in dermatology at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he also served as the chief resident.
